Catching up some more...

Some other fun stuff so far this summer included a birthday party, a muddy walk and a new bike. Caden was invited to celebrate Elijah McMillan's birthday last week and they were able to jump on the trampoline and destroy a pinata, eat cake and open presents. Lots of fun!! We are happy to say that this fall, Elijah and his family are going to come and live here in Regina. Caden will love having another hockey fan to play with and we will enjoy having good friends so close by again!! Thanks for the present!! So the kids and I went for a walk the other day and Caden took all of the pictures. Here is a picture of his muddy foot after he stepped in a puddle. He's so funny. After this he wanted to go home and wash it off. I think he just found an excuse to possibly use the water hose and wanted to hurry home and take advantage of it. Also on this walk I had a couple of experiences that were due completely to having the triplets along. Within our first block walked, a van dro...

Catching up...

When I put my pictures on here I saw that I had 300 pictures. I won't put them all on here :) but I'll do some highlights of the last couple of weeks. Dylan is pulling himself up and loves to be standing. He's to the point now that he will move along furniture. I am definitely not in any hurry to have him walking. Yikes. This is Dylan just a couple of days after we decided that we'd better drop his crib down. I went in to check on the kids for their naps and here was Dylan standing up. This was a couple of weeks ago now and since then I've had to pull his crib to the middle of the room to keep him from yanking on the curtain there behind him. I have been making my baby food for months now but we had figured out what things cost and there was a sale on baby food that I could not pass up. I bought all of this at one time and only dropped and broke one while at the till :) I had been looking for this play yard for ages. I had seen it on Jon and Kate and though...

too tired to think of a title

The babies turned 9 months yesterday. They are growing like weeds. They are all getting teeth. Evan finally had one come through this morning. Sleep is not happening but what can you do? We've been having a fun summer. Our great friends, the Pippus' were here this past week. We went for walks, went to Buffalo Days and saw the parade. Justin and I decided to take the kids to the fair at the last minute on friday night. It worked out great. Caden got to go on tonnes of rides and the babies just hung out in their strollers happy as can be. Thank goodness! We've had other friends drop by or come for supper lately. It's so wonderful to have so many great friends. People who still want to hang out with us, even though our life is a bit of a zoo !! :) I have some pictures to post but that will have to wait until the babies are sleeping and I am not almost sleeping. Not sure when those two things will happen simultaneously but I'll try!

First Tooth....

And the prize for first tooth to come through goes to...... - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Liam!! Way to go little guy! And way to go Craig and/or Leah for guessing it! The other two babies are SO SO close. You can see the whites of Evan's. It is making life oh so enjoyable. Ugh. Dylan is especially suffering today. But they are all medicated and ready for bed now. Dylan didn't sleep much at all last night (My night of course!) so I'm hoping he gets a better sleep tonight.

First Tooth

One of the triplets finally has a tooth. Who is the first to have one of their shiny whites break through? If you want an oh so fascinating game to play on this rainy July day - have a guess. Was it Dylan, Evan or Liam? I'll tell you who it was tomorrow!! Aren't you glad you read this in time to be a part of the nail biting suspense ? :)

Minot - Sunday - The Spray Park

Sunday was our last day in Minot and we decided to spend it at the spray park. It was another pretty nice day. We had really nice weather the whole time. Here are some pictures of the time at the park: Caden Lana on the left, Uncle Adam with the gun and Zack in the water bubble Zack Adam, Caden and Caden's little girlfriend for the day. He followed her around a bit while we were there. It was cute. The baby's didn't want to go in the water so I let them stay out :) They had fun laying on the blanket in the grass with grandma and grandpa. Beth was feeding Dylan cheerios. That was pretty sweet. We had such a good time in Minot. We were sad when it was over but we're already looking forward to next year. A 4 year old and 3 1 1/2 year olds. Huh... That should be interesting... .

Minot - Saturday - The Zoo

Saturday (the weekend before this past weekend) was a beautiful day in Minot and a perfect day to go to the zoo. First, we had some breakfast by the pool. Good Morning Keiran! A smiling Bethy My brothers, Adam and Chris, 'accidentally' put on the same shirt. Cute!! Our boys at the zoo Grandpa pushing Liam and Evan's stroller Dylan got his own for this leg of the walk and here he is actually wearing his hat. That's short lived! The kids enjoyed feeding some of the animals. Zack, Keiran, Caden and Uncle Chris checking out the otters At one point I watched Caden and Keiran (these cousins are just a few weeks apart in age) just start to wander off, on their own little mission. Not sure what they were planning but I'm sure it would have been interesting. Ok - the kids might seem smaller here! They are!! This is two years ago. The first annual family trip to Minot. I thought it might be fun to compare the first two years with the cousins to this year. So this is 2...
