Margaret Olivia Mooney

We had an exciting day yesterday. A new Mooney was born into the world. James (Justin's older brother) and his wife Nicola had a baby girl by c-section yesterday morning. Margaret Olivia - "Maggie" weighed in at 9 lbs even and 21 inches long. Super healthy and lots of black hair. We'll post a picture soon. Aren't babies great! The hospital only allows grandparents to visit so we haven't been able to meet her yet. She'll be home either tomorrow or friday. Can't wait!! We are having lots of fun in Calgary and today we got to go see Judy's office downtown and then she took us up the Calgary Tower. We all walked out on the glass floor - including Caden. That was pretty cute. Here are a couple of pics.

Yee Haw

Today Caden and his mom and his grandma went to The Saskatoon Farm with Melissa & David. It is just a few minutes south of Calgary. They are a garden center, u-pick farm, a store and a cafe. It was lots of fun. Caden loved to see a couple of dogs that came to say hi. It was really weird to see Roosters just wandering around "cock-a-doodle-dooing". Not something I get to see everyday! We also said hello to "daisy" the potbellied pig. The view from the farm was just beautiful too. Apparently there are also buffalo but we didn't get to see any. We had some snacks (with saskatoon berries of course). It was a very nice morning out.

Soul2Soul Tour

On Tuesday night we saw Tim McGraw and Faith Hill in concert. It was incredible. We went up to Edmonton. Caden got to stay with grandma and grandpa Mooney and we had a night away. He had at least as much fun as we did. Have I ever mentioned how much I like Tim McGraw!!!! Here's a few pics from the concert.

Back at Camp

Last saturday we were back out at the camp to continue working on the new craft building and to do some cleaning and fixing up. We were blessed with beautiful weather and lots of workers so alot got done. The walls were put up the weekend before. The roof got done this time around. Trusses, then sheeting and then tinned. While the roof was getting put up on the new building there were other jobs being done all around the camp. Thanks everybody!

Blue Like Jazz

I just got back from a morning walk around Wascana Park. It was very quiet and peaceful. There were a few other mom's out, some retiree's and some joggers. It's fairly windy so the trees were really rustling. Caden just loves looking around and is so happy to be outside. This gives me that entire 45 minutes or so to think. I have had alot of thoughts going through my head lately. For the past quite awhile I have carried my faith around like a heavy load. I hated that it felt that way but it did. I was confused by that and troubled. But I just read a book "Blue like Jazz" by Donald Miller and he totally put words to how I was feeling. Or just explained it really well for me. I think I have been trying to define who I am as a christian by how I interact and contribute to my church. If that doesn't go well then I feel I am failing. Plus I had guilt when I didn't volunteer to do a certain thing or I was a little grumbly when I did participate in
