A Fun Weekend

It was a pretty good weekend for me. I got to spend friday night with Justin and Caden. Saturday we got some stuff done that needed to be done. Vicki came saturday night and we did a little shopping, went out for supper with no kids!!! YAY!!! and then went to "A Christmas Carol" play at the Globe Theatre. Sunday? What did I do sunday? HHHMMMM? Oh ya......... We watched the Grey Cup game :) !!!! WWOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOO RIDERS!!!! I think even a part of Justin might have been happy for the Rider Fans. I completely enjoyed driving home after - it was so loud and fun and everyone was so excited. People were hanging out of their cars. We could still hear the honking and cheering from the house when we got home. It was great!!! There is just something about celebrating with your community and everyone being a part of something together. Very fun. Rider fans in Toronto

Santa Claus Parade

To continue on with the Christmas theme, on sunday we went to the Santa Claus Parade. It goes down south albert. It was fun - mostly because I enjoyed seeing Caden's reactions to things. It was a pretty nice day for november. I'm feeling excited about Christmas. I have a few decorations up and am enjoying the smell of cinnamon and the occasional hot chocolate. I love being cozy and putting Caden into his cuddly pajama's. It's a pretty great time of year!

Christmas in the Village

Well the holiday season has begun as far as I'm concerned. So we decided to check out "Christmas in the Village" - that's Cathedral Village - the area we live in, on saturday afternoon. It was alright. I thought it could have been better but we did get to take a few pictures. There was a little petting zoo - Caden got to hold a bunny. He really liked that. Santa and Mrs. Claus were there with their sled and reindeer. And then afterwards we got to go home and have hot chocolate with some friends. It was surprisingly cold out.

GO RIDERS!!

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Justin is very very sad and Caden and I are very very happy !!!!

Tot's Cafe

Tot's Cafe is an indoor playground and coffee shop here in Regina. I usually try to plan fun things for Caden everyday if I can. Well the last couple of weeks have been sorely lacking in fun stuff so I decided to head out and go there. He hasn't been there before and was pretty excited by everything. He went on the slide a few times but spent most of the time in this car. If he did venture out it was basically to play with the ball. So, for anyone who has been around him lately, you won't be surprised that he wanted to play with "Car" and "ball". Also two of his most used words - well, besides HI HI HI :) I had fun too but I just felt sort of sad to think that he may never have a sibling to run around with. Wouldn't that be a shame? He played with one little girl a bit but everyone else was there with someone. So even though we had fun, all of our fertility/ miscarriage crap was still sitting on my chest affecting my experiences. That make

Monday

Yesterday was a long day. It started with me having to go to my doctor's office to keep an appointment that I had initially made for the purpose of hearing my baby's heartbeat and looking to see if we would find one or two babies there. When I get there it was a misunderstanding and the appt. was only for the ultrasound which I, of course, no longer needed. They don't realize that I have had a miscarriage so I have to tell them. Lovely. So - I cry in front of these poor nurses who had just started their monday morning. So I go home all emotional after having psyched myself up for this and it ending up to be a waste of time. It's hard to explain why it was such a difficult time but it was horrible. They called me later to say that yes - the Dr. did want to see me that day so could I come back at 430 - oh sure - why not!!? I think I spent the last little while in some sort of shock or something. I don't really know. But yesterday was a weepy day for me. Th
