Lots of Love, post 3 of 3

Yes - that's 3 posts today. I'm going to be away for a bit and won't be blogging much, if at all. I wanted to get sort of caught up before we go. This post is just a few pictures that Caden and I took the other day. We love our babies what can we say!! And.. it's important to give them all equal love and attention right? Caden and Liam Liam and Mommy Dylan and Caden Dylan and Mommy Evan and Caden (I still think they look alike) Ahhh, melt a mother's heart Evan and Mommy Can't leave out the big guy. He likes it... :)

The great outdoors, post 2 of 3

Yes, to me, the great outdoors are a backyard or a city park. Who are you to judge? Anyway - we are having so much fun spending most of our days outside. We even eat meals outside and I lug exersaucers and high chairs, blankets, toys, diapers, wipes and on and on, all outside so that we can enjoy our summer while it lasts. Here are the boys in a wagon at a friends place This is a good representation of the boys at their individual stages. Liam can sit up quite well for a minute or two, Evan does not bother to try but is always mr. happy pants and Dylan has moved on from sitting to constantly moving without pause....well, unless he comes across a stray bottle that he can steal and suck dry. I try to put Dylan in the exersaucer as much as he will go without fussing. Otherwise he is eating plants, dirt and so on. He does not stay on the blanket we put out that's for sure. Well, grandpa Mooney, your look-a-like may be like you in more than just looks... He's a book man. At l

Korean Night , post 1 of 3

Last weekend our friends Craig and Leah came over and made us a Korean supper. They're not Korean, they've just lived there for a few years!! Justin, helping out (and sneaking some sushi making in on the side) Here's the spread. It was SO good. We enjoyed leftovers for 2 days after that and were sad to see it end. And just for the record - although I'm willing to try anything once, I don't usually like new things the first time around. Hanging out after supper. No the babies didn't get any. Count the babies in the picture.... Yup, that was 4 babies. Jason and Shannon came too and brought their little girl, Emmanuelle She just loved posing for the camera. SO CUTE! Here's the 4 of them standing (sort of) I just can't get over how fast these kids are growing. It's amazing. It was one year ago that we moved into this house so that we'd have room for everyone. I was barely even showing yet. And now look at the size of them!! I'm so gr

CRAWLING!!

It's official. Dylan is crawling!! It's not that graceful and it's just belly crawling still but he gets from one end of the room to the other pretty fast. I'm glad we're doing this one baby at a time because it is craziness already. He gets stuck under furniture and under the other kids. He sees something he wants and with an intense look on his face he cruises to it. There's no holding him back. Caden isn't too thrilled because what Dylan usually wants are his toys. We're still working on 'sharing with your brothers!' Side Note: Check out jjmooney.blogspot.com for some fun pictures of Justin as a kid.

Caden and the fire station

Caden was lucky enough to get invited, by my friend Kim, to join her preschool class on a visit to the Fire Station. What a fun time!! Caden started out pretty shy. Wouldn't leave my side. I kept trying to slink back but he kept turning around and coming back towards me. That was at first... ...then he got to go into the fire truck and he lit right up. He started asking the fireman a bunch of questions about everything. After that he was right in there with everyone else. They went around the truck showing the kids what was in all the different areas of the truck. It's funny to hear some of the things 3 and 4 year old say or ask. Pretty cute. One of the guys put all his gear on to show the kids what they looked like. It was really neat. They made a point to say how it's not really scary and that if you are ever in a fire you should call out for help and not hide. They all crouched down as if they were in a smoky room and yelled "I'm over here". He

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JUSTIN

Hello people! It's my hubby's birthday today and he is a really great guy. I mean how many men are perfectly content to be alone with 3 babies and a 3 year old!! I'm pretty lucky. He's great in a million other ways too but I don't know if he always knows it. Anyway - I am giving you all an opportunity to wish him a happy birthday. Just comment right here and he'll get it. I think he deserves a few hello's don't you? And if you read this late - that's ok. Say hi anyway!! Happy Sunshiney Day!

The men in my life

The pictures from the last couple of days ended up being all about the men in my life (in no particular order :) ). First we have Caden. He got a new outfit for his birthday last month and I just thought he looked so nice in it. Here he is posing for mom (with babies scattered throughout..) Here are some silly faces goofy boy Aahhhh - attacked! Playing with dad uh oh.... no preschoolers were hurt in the making of this blog entry! Here's my dad - Grandma Jocelyn, hanging with Dylan. Dylan was falling asleep but as soon as the camera came out he lit right up! Waiting for daddy.... I really like this picture. Too cute!
