A gift

Me, Tara, Heather and Leah

I was given a gift this weekend. I was able to go to Saskatoon for one night and spend about 24 hours with some good girlfriends; Some of my 'old friends'. There is just something about people who have known you forever :). First though, our friends Todd and Lindsay came over so that we could get some stuff done around the house. THANK YOU! I'm reaping the benefits of having everything done and not feeling so overwhelmed! Then Justin gifted me with a night and day away from all 3 babies and I really needed the break. Not only that but he didn't make me feel guilty or anything. He was perfectly happy to let me do this! He's just the greatest guy!! I took Caden so he could play with Tara's boys and that was a gift to me too. To see my little guy having so much fun with new friends. And getting to spend some time with just him. He woke up early on Sunday so we just hung out in the bedroom for 2 hours until we started to hear the others start to wake up. It was nice (for awhile anyway! Till he was just anxious to get out and play with those boys). And my friends. They all made it a really special time. And Tim was sweet to watch the kids a couple of times so that we could go out. That is HUGE in my world. Getting to go out like that - twice in a row and for hours at a time! WOW!! I've come home refreshed and feel a little more like myself. You know "who am I without my kids?" and when I don't feel like I'm losing my mind! I got to miss the little boys and have been hugging them tonnes since I got back. I feel ready to face the busyness that is my life these days. Last week was pretty rough and this was exactly what I needed. I am just SO happy that I decided to go even though it felt like I 'shouldn't'!!

The kids really seemed to enjoy each other.
Here they are hanging in Elijah's room. They are
playing with cars. Can't get enough of those!!

Elijah, Caden & Michael

Elijah and his auntie Heather

Heather led the boys in a rousing game of spiderman match up. They were really concentrating...

"HMMM"....
A match!! YAY! Doesn't matter who made it either!

Caden and Elijah. How cute are they?!

And then - the best thing of all - HOCKEY. These boys LOVE hockey.

Go, Michael, Go!!

Between hockey games the boys ran off some steam at the park.

Fun times!! Hope we can get together again soon!

They are here. They are really really here!!!

It was a cool day. Almost too cold. The kind of cold that makes you rethink your very existence.... Boy. I am waaaay to tired for that. So I will give you the un-dramatic version. So, we are getting bombarded with requests for an update and pictures. So I will oblige and provide you with all the gory details. Actually, there are no gory details. In what can only be described as an amazing answer to many prayers, the new Mooney babies were brought into this world with no problems what so ever. We entered the hospital at 10:00 in the morning and were taken to the surgery room around 12:00 noon. At exactly 12:38, the first baby, Dylan Michael was born weighing in at 6 pounds even. Then, also at 12:38, Evan Timothy also charged into the world weighing in at 5.2 pounds. Then, at 12:39 Liam David was born weighing 4.8 pounds. For those of you good at math, that is a whopping 16 pounds worth of babies. 16 POUNDS!!! And even though them just being born at 36 weeks and 5 days isn

The 2 Week Wait is Over

The waiting is finally over. Today was the day - after 2 long weeks of waiting - that I went for my official pregnancy test at the dr.'s office. I had done a couple of Home Pregnancy Tests so I pretty much knew what to expect. I have been praying constantly, as have many of you out there (thank you so much for that). Well, God heard all of us and we are happy to report that the test came back positive. We are really happy but also very cautious . It was only 5 months ago today that we lost our pregnancy at 5 1/2 weeks. We are going to just continue praying that God will watch over this pregnancy and that a healthy baby will be born. We give Thanks to God !
