Compassion

Today I saw this link shared by Chelsey Roberts (thanks!).  I have thought about this a lot and just really liked the way the letter was written and wanted to share it.  I've talked to Caden about this a little bit but after reading this I have a few new ways to word it that I want to share with him.    Check out the link...

RCMP Sunset Ceremony

Last night we finally took in the RCMP Sunset Ceremony that they have on tuesday nights. We've been wanting to see it ourselves and we've been wanting to take the kids AND we have a student from Japan staying with us this month so we figured it was time to do it. It only took Justin and I 16 1/2 years of living here to get to it!!  Glad we went.  Here are a few pictures.  They pass out paper police hats for the 'kids' The shooting was loud for the boys but still interesting I think. A Date!

Our date for July was to go kayaking at Wascana Park and get ice cream. A fun summer thing to do! Last thursday there was a nice enough evening so we headed out for some couple time. We are really trying to make this more of a priority and it's so much Fun!  The Ctv hot air balloon showed up near the end The Balloon followed us to Dairy Queen Thanks to good friends for watching our boys so we can do this once in a while!

Staycation

On another day we went to Moose Jaw for the day.   We spent the morning at the spray park/toddler pool. Then we took the kids to the Western Development Museum of Transportation in MJ.  I was super impressed.  I'd never been there before but it's really interesting.  The boys liked it but they ran through everything too fast.  Made me want to go back on my own!! :) We finished up the day, another really hot one, getting gelato at the Fudge Factory.  YUM!!   And yes, we brought some fudge home too! At the end of the week we went to Regina Beach with Adam and Trinda and kids.  It was a blast.  Again, this beach thing is somethin
