Staycation

We were at home for our second week of holidays and made the best of that.  There are a lot of things I can't do by myself, even in our own town, with 4 young boys so it was nice to have Justin around.

We went to our first movie all together, the 6 of us.
Liam and Evan thought it was a little scary but they did fine.
On another day we went to Moose Jaw for the day.
We spent the morning at the spray park/toddler pool.

Then we took the kids to the Western Development Museum of Transportation in MJ.  I was super impressed.  I'd never been there before but it's really interesting.  The boys liked it but they ran through everything too fast.  Made me want to go back on my own!! :)

We finished up the day, another really hot one, getting gelato at the Fudge Factory.  YUM!!
And yes, we brought some fudge home too!
At the end of the week we went to Regina Beach with Adam and Trinda and kids.  It was a blast.  Again, this beach thing is something I love and we are finally at a stage with the boys where we can go.  I am so thrilled about that!  We also picked up some inflatable things since they were on sale.  Too much fun!

More beach pictures but this is the next day at Buffalo Pound Beach.  Adam and family are here too and so are Chris and his family.  We were having a mini Hamel reunion there (that's my mom's side of the family) and had family from Sask., Alberta, Manitoba and B.C.
It was really good to see everyone.

Cousins
Susette, me and Cindy.  These are my cousins from B.C.  Hadn't seen them in ages!
We roasted marshmallows and made smores.  I'm sorry but with 3 three year olds, this is a nightmare that I would never suggest.  Therefore, I am glad that others make it happen so that they can have the experience.  They had fun with it even if it was incredibly dangerous and messy ;)

Susette and Liam had a connection for sure!
We finished up the weekend by going to Weyburn to celebrate Jeremy (Chris and Sherry's little guy)'s second birthday.

Caden and Keiran playing Battleship
More cousin fun - Gabby and Lana
Happy Birthday Jeremy!!

Justin didn't get to come to the birthday party because his brother Josh came out for the day.  There are no pictures of that.  That might be a good thing ;)  They had lots of fun too!!

They are here. They are really really here!!!

It was a cool day. Almost too cold. The kind of cold that makes you rethink your very existence.... Boy. I am waaaay to tired for that. So I will give you the un-dramatic version. So, we are getting bombarded with requests for an update and pictures. So I will oblige and provide you with all the gory details. Actually, there are no gory details. In what can only be described as an amazing answer to many prayers, the new Mooney babies were brought into this world with no problems what so ever. We entered the hospital at 10:00 in the morning and were taken to the surgery room around 12:00 noon. At exactly 12:38, the first baby, Dylan Michael was born weighing in at 6 pounds even. Then, also at 12:38, Evan Timothy also charged into the world weighing in at 5.2 pounds. Then, at 12:39 Liam David was born weighing 4.8 pounds. For those of you good at math, that is a whopping 16 pounds worth of babies. 16 POUNDS!!! And even though them just being born at 36 weeks and 5 days isn

The 2 Week Wait is Over

The waiting is finally over. Today was the day - after 2 long weeks of waiting - that I went for my official pregnancy test at the dr.'s office. I had done a couple of Home Pregnancy Tests so I pretty much knew what to expect. I have been praying constantly, as have many of you out there (thank you so much for that). Well, God heard all of us and we are happy to report that the test came back positive. We are really happy but also very cautious . It was only 5 months ago today that we lost our pregnancy at 5 1/2 weeks. We are going to just continue praying that God will watch over this pregnancy and that a healthy baby will be born. We give Thanks to God !
