Liam pulls up to standing! (and also crawls through things)

Liam has started pulling up on things but he also likes to go under and into things. He's always under the exersaucer or under the table when we go somewhere. Here he is going through our coffee table. He's not very happy here but he does this fairly regularly and is usually happy about it. We just had to get a picture of this. I'll have to get a happy one sometime :) Liam has also been pulling himself up to standing lately. He just pulled up to the coffee table today. He's not as tall as the other boys so he does better pulling up to shorter things. Evan was trying to pull up on some carpeted stairs yesterday and wasn't quite getting it but it won't be long I don't think. Yesterday I actually dressed the boys exactly the same for church. We have been given so many clothes that I am just using what we have and so they don't usually match. These shirts were a steal of a deal and I just had to buy them. They are all different sizes but so are th

Kind of funny - or really funny if you aren't exhausted

To set the stage - I have had no sleep. The kids took turns being up all night. I'm not sure what the problem was but I'm not too happy about it. Anyway, once I could see straight, I was in the bathroom putting my hair up or something and Dylan was in there with me. He always follows us in there. No big deal. But then I hear Liam crying in the living room so I run out and see. He's fallen. He does that a lot now that he has started pulling up on everything. I gave him a bit of a hug and some love. Then I go back to see what Dylan is doing and he has unrolled a whole bunch of toilet paper. He was just sitting in it and laughing away. Luckily Evan was just sitting and playing in the living room. Needless to say - if you ever come over - say in the middle of the afternoon - and I look like I just got up - that'll be why! Even just to go brush my teeth (I never get to makeup or doing my hair! That's pretty fancy for me now.) - I have to come out while bru

Another First

It was so beautiful out yesterday that I left my dirty house and my long to do list and spent the day outside. In the afternoon we went for a walk. The babies were in their triplet stroller and we had another interesting outing. This time people decided to holler out at us from their vehicles. Nice stuff but it was odd. First, when I was crossing the street, a man leaned out and said "mom of triplets?", I nodded yes and he gave me a thumbs up. Huh!? ok.... Then, when I was crossing another street a lady called out 'boy are they cute'. So - nice things at least - but I'm not at all used to being hollered at by strangers. It's so weird. And I can't help but wonder what Caden thinks of it. What a weird public life we suddenly have. It is what it is and like I said before - I might as well laugh and enjoy the benefits - but, did I mention this? - it's still weird!

First Haircuts

Dylan and Evan's hair was getting a little fly-away and it was time to tidy it up a bit. Grandma Mooney agreed to give them their first haircuts. Dylan sat pretty well but wasn't too sure what was going on. All Done and Looking great! Evan's turn.. He also did quite well. He looked like such a little man afterwards. Liam got to skip out on this part since his hair isn't quite to the point of needing to be cut yet :) Don't cut it!! He needs to keep all that he has! He's laughing because he didn't have to get a haircut like his brothers.

How Big?

On our holiday a lot of people were asking us how big the babies were. I checked again when we got home but here's the weight update: Dylan is 21.7 lbs Evan is 20 lbs Liam is 18 lbs and they are almost ten months. So - not bad at all! Dylan and Evan used to be the same and Liam was 4 lbs behind. He's gaining on Evan now but Dylan is pulling ahead :). I had wondered if he(D) was having a growth spurt b/c he had been sleeping a lot more than usual. So there it is. Caden is still 34 lbs. He runs around too much to gain weight.

They Did It!!!

Justin's sister Jacquie and her new hubby Kenny!! Congratulations guys!! It was a beautiful day and a beautiful ceremony for two beautiful people. Here's Caden before the wedding. Such a handsome boy! Maggie (Caden's cousin) and Caden before the ceremony. They had so much fun together. They did a lot of running around and playing and getting to know each other! And here they go, up the aisle. Caden very much wanted to do what he was supposed to do. He was really into it and held Maggie's hand. They are SO CUTE!! Our beautiful bride The original three. Judy's co-worker and her two young daughters watched the babies for us during the wedding and reception. It was wonderful!! Jacquie and Caden Jacquie and I Here's Caden a few minutes into the drive home after the wedding. Right after telling us that his stomach was hurting and that I 'needed to stop putting candy in his mouth'. I thought that was hilarious. Ya - I'm force feeding you candy.

A Full Week!

Wow - I've been on my computer a total of 5 minutes in the past week and I LOVE it. It's like I have a life suddenly or something! We are having lots of fun and I have lots of pictures to share in a few days. I'll have even more after tomorrow when Justin's sister Jacquie gets married. So exciting!! It still feels like summer but I know that is going to end in a hurry! Evan has started clapping, Liam is pulling up a little now and Dylan is getting his second tooth. That'll make 2 for each baby. The babies with hair (D & E) got their first haircuts. They look so handsome. Caden has suddenly gone from 2 to 3 overnight. He is so well behaved all of a sudden. I am so proud of the little guy he has become. He's the ring bearer tomorrow so I probably shouldn't be writing that. I'll jinx things. But I have really been proud of him lately. Thanks for still checking in and I'll have more pictures for you by next week!

Evan Crawls!!

Well, Evan has decided to join his brothers and begin to crawl. For the sake of individuality he has also come up with his own way to do it!! So - all 3 have completely different crawls. Here is Evan's. Check it out:

Our Stay-cation with the Pippus Crew

Having the Pippus' hang out with us, here in town, is like getting away for a holiday - without having to pack!! I was sad to see them go but I guess they can't just live with us forever.... Here we are at the park. Justin had to work but the rest of us went for a walk around the lake. Caden and Katelyn Caden got a little tired so Tim gave him a few rides . Sara with a couple of the babies. She ended up with the heaviest stroller. Megan and Liam. You seldom saw one without the other the whole time. Pretty sweet. Stopped for a moment at the fountain... Did you notice how I didn't have to push any strollers or basically do anything with my kids during that walk? Well, that's what it was like the entire time. We have so many friends who help us and who love our kids. It's a real bonus when some of them move in with us for awhile!! Thanks guys!! On friday night Justin and I spontaneously decided to take Caden to Buffalo Days. After work we packed up the 4 kids
