They are here. They are really really here!!!

It was a cool day. Almost too cold. The kind of cold that makes you rethink your very existence....

Boy. I am waaaay to tired for that. So I will give you the un-dramatic version.

So, we are getting bombarded with requests for an update and pictures. So I will oblige and provide you with all the gory details.

Actually, there are no gory details. In what can only be described as an amazing answer to many prayers, the new Mooney babies were brought into this world with no problems what so ever. We entered the hospital at 10:00 in the morning and were taken to the surgery room around 12:00 noon. At exactly 12:38, the first baby, Dylan Michael was born weighing in at 6 pounds even. Then, also at 12:38, Evan Timothy also charged into the world weighing in at 5.2 pounds. Then, at 12:39 Liam David was born weighing 4.8 pounds. For those of you good at math, that is a whopping 16 pounds worth of babies. 16 POUNDS!!!

And even though them just being born at 36 weeks and 5 days isn't a miracle enough, none of the babies have to spend any time in the Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit. They are already out of the nursery and hanging with Jen in her hospital room. What an amazing day.

So, without further ado, here are some pictures of the new additions to our family. Thanks again for all the prayers and good wishes. I will post some better pictures in the next few days.

Evan Timothy Mooney

Liam David Mooney

This is all so amazing. Jen truely is a hero. If we were all in a room together, lost for words, this is one of those inspiring situations that would call for somebody to start a movie-like, "slow clap"...which always erupts into a roar of cheers. Way to go Jen and congratulations brother!

That is such awesome news. PTL that they are all so big & healthy. My sister just had a baby 2 weeks ago & he was 4 lbs 6 oz at 36 weeks so the triplets are big in comparison. Congratulations.

What a journey you all have been on! Congratulations! Wish we were living closer so that we could give you a hand. I just finished the Jon and Kate book and there are so many things I was reminded of having to do for my kids, but only for one baby at a time - I can only imagine how hectic things might get at times. But I know you have a great help in Justin and lots of people are excited to help you out there. Take care. Hugs for the big brother! LaWanda

Well....congrats!! So glad to hear that it all went well, and that mom and babies are doing so great! I think it's safe to say that's a huge relief from everyone's shoulders who have been thinking and praying for you over these past 36 weeks!!! I just wish I could be there to see them in person, but I guess the pictures will have to do for now! I love you, and miss you, and will be out there to check out this whole new family as soon as I can!!

The 2 Week Wait is Over

The waiting is finally over. Today was the day - after 2 long weeks of waiting - that I went for my official pregnancy test at the dr.'s office. I had done a couple of Home Pregnancy Tests so I pretty much knew what to expect. I have been praying constantly, as have many of you out there (thank you so much for that). Well, God heard all of us and we are happy to report that the test came back positive. We are really happy but also very cautious . It was only 5 months ago today that we lost our pregnancy at 5 1/2 weeks. We are going to just continue praying that God will watch over this pregnancy and that a healthy baby will be born. We give Thanks to God !
