It's Christmas time!!

Today was another great day. I was able to put up our Christmas tree and get a few gifts wrapped. YAY!! I love this time of year. We put Christmas music on and Caden even helped me. It was fun. Caden was really excited about it and thought the tree was really pretty.

Lorraine came to visit for the afternoon and fed and changed a baby. Thanks Lorraine! :)
Dylan and Liam were even awake for most of the visit which was nice.

Sherry and the kids came in the evening. Here's Beth - so adorable. The 3 older kids had a blast together. Caden was so excited he was jumping up and down when they came. It was really nice to see all of them.

Caden loved playing with Beth. I think he'll be glad when his brothers can interact with him.

Kieran spinning Caden and Lana around. They laughed and laughed. It was really special.

So, ya, we all had another great day. I'm feeling a little tired tonight. I did the midnight - one a.m. feeding and then the 430 - 530 feeding last night. I'm not complaining though. They slept for 3.5 hours straight. That's not so bad. And then dad came up at 615 and I was able to go back to bed until 9 (even though Caden got up at 630! It figures that the babies longest stretch of sleeping seems to be those early morning hours where I won't even benefit from it because Caden will be up. HMMM! We'll have to get them switched from that!)

Can you see me rolling my eyes at your tree...hehe. Kidding. It must feel really good to be able to be getting up and doing some of these things after 2 months of doing nothing!
I hear you on the night time feeding, early morning kid, no time to sleep feeling! It was so much easier with the first, just sleep when they do right!!
Anyway, looks like you guys are being pretty well taken care of!

Lots of Love

Look on the bright side. Even if you have to be awake and the babies are not, you will have some great alone time with Caden.

Awesome set-up guys. (I'm refering to the change station, lol). Looks like you guys are doing great and have had lots of visits/help. (Including one of our boys' girl friends, Maggie....but don't tell James)!

Let us know if you need anything. We'll try to send some more stuff down in a few months. Just watch how quickly those boys will grow!!

Cheers,

Steve (Fellow Triplet Daddy)

They are here. They are really really here!!!

It was a cool day. Almost too cold. The kind of cold that makes you rethink your very existence.... Boy. I am waaaay to tired for that. So I will give you the un-dramatic version. So, we are getting bombarded with requests for an update and pictures. So I will oblige and provide you with all the gory details. Actually, there are no gory details. In what can only be described as an amazing answer to many prayers, the new Mooney babies were brought into this world with no problems what so ever. We entered the hospital at 10:00 in the morning and were taken to the surgery room around 12:00 noon. At exactly 12:38, the first baby, Dylan Michael was born weighing in at 6 pounds even. Then, also at 12:38, Evan Timothy also charged into the world weighing in at 5.2 pounds. Then, at 12:39 Liam David was born weighing 4.8 pounds. For those of you good at math, that is a whopping 16 pounds worth of babies. 16 POUNDS!!! And even though them just being born at 36 weeks and 5 days isn

The 2 Week Wait is Over

The waiting is finally over. Today was the day - after 2 long weeks of waiting - that I went for my official pregnancy test at the dr.'s office. I had done a couple of Home Pregnancy Tests so I pretty much knew what to expect. I have been praying constantly, as have many of you out there (thank you so much for that). Well, God heard all of us and we are happy to report that the test came back positive. We are really happy but also very cautious . It was only 5 months ago today that we lost our pregnancy at 5 1/2 weeks. We are going to just continue praying that God will watch over this pregnancy and that a healthy baby will be born. We give Thanks to God !
