Getting Busier

Well, the boys are getting busier, they are awake more. It is great but it makes it hard to blog. I have Dylan in a snugli on me just so I can type. Oh - and as I wrote that sentence Caden asked me to help him build his 'cars' blocks. So - I'm going to go do that. But you can all know that things are going well and the babies are growing and becoming more interactive, more smily. But, not more sleepy at night!! Last night was a great night and it went like this...

They were all fed and in bed by 11:15, slept until 2:45, ate until 3:3o and then slept until 6 (except for a little blurb at 430 where Evan woke up for a minute but went back to sleep with a soother). A night like that doesn't seem to bother me. The night before, on the other hand, was a nightmare. The babies just finished eating and then Caden was up. He was up for almost 2 hours in the middle of the night. I have no idea why. By the time he fell asleep the babies were up again. So.... I was up from 3 am until I went to bed last night at 11. UGH. But I survived and like I said, last night wasn't so bad. I wonder when they'll sleep longer though? Only time will tell....

Also - I've started doing yoga every day (that I can) and some crunches and lunges and various things that I can just do here and there when I have a free couple of minutes. It's what I can do for now and it feels good to be doing something. I would love to actually work out someday but it might be a little while before I can get a solid period of time for that. Justin is going to start here right away as well. I'm feeling like I don't need him as much at lunch time so he could jog or something then. It's just time for both of us to get back on the wagon.

A new kind of life is forming out of the fog of having new babies at home and it feels good to be getting things figured out and a sort of routine going.

Ok - off I go to build a duplo town.

Glad to hear that the light at the end of the new normal tunnel is finally starting to shed light! One day you'll look back and see that it was only a few short months that you were without sleep! I remember someone telling me before I had Maggie to enjoy it, because there will be long days, but short years. Hard to enjoy sometimes when you're sleep deprived, but it sounds like you're doing a great job!

They are here. They are really really here!!!

It was a cool day. Almost too cold. The kind of cold that makes you rethink your very existence.... Boy. I am waaaay to tired for that. So I will give you the un-dramatic version. So, we are getting bombarded with requests for an update and pictures. So I will oblige and provide you with all the gory details. Actually, there are no gory details. In what can only be described as an amazing answer to many prayers, the new Mooney babies were brought into this world with no problems what so ever. We entered the hospital at 10:00 in the morning and were taken to the surgery room around 12:00 noon. At exactly 12:38, the first baby, Dylan Michael was born weighing in at 6 pounds even. Then, also at 12:38, Evan Timothy also charged into the world weighing in at 5.2 pounds. Then, at 12:39 Liam David was born weighing 4.8 pounds. For those of you good at math, that is a whopping 16 pounds worth of babies. 16 POUNDS!!! And even though them just being born at 36 weeks and 5 days isn

The 2 Week Wait is Over

The waiting is finally over. Today was the day - after 2 long weeks of waiting - that I went for my official pregnancy test at the dr.'s office. I had done a couple of Home Pregnancy Tests so I pretty much knew what to expect. I have been praying constantly, as have many of you out there (thank you so much for that). Well, God heard all of us and we are happy to report that the test came back positive. We are really happy but also very cautious . It was only 5 months ago today that we lost our pregnancy at 5 1/2 weeks. We are going to just continue praying that God will watch over this pregnancy and that a healthy baby will be born. We give Thanks to God !
