A Fantastically Full and Fun Friday

We really made the most of a weekend this past weekend. First we headed to Estevan on thursday night because Caden didn't have school on Friday.

Since we were up and ready by 8 am we decided to go and visit Sara at the school where she works while they were doing their breakfast program. I always like being able to picture people where they work and what their life really looks like day to day so that was pretty fun. You may notice that throughout these pictures, Liam is not cooperating.  He did have fun, just didn't want to be in pictures this day.  He's a stubborn monkey.

It's Megan's school too so Sara took us to find her and we got to say Hello before her classes started.

Then we went to playground number one.  We decided that today would be a perfect day to do some Park Hopping.  That was on our 'list', inspired by Trinda.
Park number two - still at the school though.  My dad had been helping at the breakfast at the school so we waited for him.
Once my dad was done we drove over to Trinda's office to surprise her.  Liam is still thrilled to be in pictures.  And again - neat to be able to see what Trinda's 'during the day' world looks like.

THEN... we went to Walmart and back to my parent's place for a bit.  Needed to change our clothes.  It was HOT and beautiful out.  Then we met my parents at another park (number three!) for lunch.

Park number four - with Sara - in the afternoon.  We had picked up these fun ball popper guns that morning so we were giving them a try.  Even Dylan, with one hand, tried his best.  He's pretty determined and extremely independent.  I'm feeling really proud of him through this whole broken arm thing.  He's doing so well!.

Once school was done we surprised Zack and Jaiden by picking them up from school and going for slurpees.  Perfect timing too.  We were hot and tired.  We'd been outside for about 6 hours by this point.  LOVE IT!

Back at my parents' place to fly kites and hang out.  Still outside!

Phew!  What a great day.  It would have been better if Justin would have been there.  He had to work Friday.  But the day finished off with Justin getting there and a really nice visit with the Pippus bunch.

The kids were ready for some down time which they finally got on saturday.  Justin and I did too.  We headed to Minot for a bit of a weekend away for our 17th anniversary.  We would have loved to have done more but this turned out to still be really really nice.  I'll post about that next time. Here are the boys hanging out at grandma and grandpa's.  I'm sure they would want me to point out that this isn't ALL that they did.  Obviously.  But I know they were happy to get to play for a bit.

They are here. They are really really here!!!

It was a cool day. Almost too cold. The kind of cold that makes you rethink your very existence.... Boy. I am waaaay to tired for that. So I will give you the un-dramatic version. So, we are getting bombarded with requests for an update and pictures. So I will oblige and provide you with all the gory details. Actually, there are no gory details. In what can only be described as an amazing answer to many prayers, the new Mooney babies were brought into this world with no problems what so ever. We entered the hospital at 10:00 in the morning and were taken to the surgery room around 12:00 noon. At exactly 12:38, the first baby, Dylan Michael was born weighing in at 6 pounds even. Then, also at 12:38, Evan Timothy also charged into the world weighing in at 5.2 pounds. Then, at 12:39 Liam David was born weighing 4.8 pounds. For those of you good at math, that is a whopping 16 pounds worth of babies. 16 POUNDS!!! And even though them just being born at 36 weeks and 5 days isn

The 2 Week Wait is Over

The waiting is finally over. Today was the day - after 2 long weeks of waiting - that I went for my official pregnancy test at the dr.'s office. I had done a couple of Home Pregnancy Tests so I pretty much knew what to expect. I have been praying constantly, as have many of you out there (thank you so much for that). Well, God heard all of us and we are happy to report that the test came back positive. We are really happy but also very cautious . It was only 5 months ago today that we lost our pregnancy at 5 1/2 weeks. We are going to just continue praying that God will watch over this pregnancy and that a healthy baby will be born. We give Thanks to God !
