I love these babies!! I just can't get enough of them and I'm already sad about them growing up too fast! I'm trying to enjoy every minute of them being tiny babies - and still trying to enjoy Caden at 2 1/2 - I don't want to miss that either. It's going pretty well so far, I think.

It's a good thing I have this blog though. I hadn't taken many pictures in a while and having people ask for pictures reminded me that I needed to do that!

Here's a few of each baby. First there is Liam. He's the smallest, the most vocal and looks the most like my side of the family. He hates being cold and gets pretty worked up pretty fast if something is bothering him. He still only fusses when hungry, gassy or cold - so not bad to deal with. He loves to be held and sometimes I fall asleep with him in my arms (a terrible habit but the things you'll do when all you want to do is go back to sleep...). We are sure that he will grow into his big beautiful eyes and he will have hair - at least for awhile!

Second there is Evan. I love this first 'Clint Eastwood' look. Funny!! He is still the calmest and quietest but he has become more vocal than he was initially. He has such a sweet face. He sleeps the most between feedings and is the best with the 'podee' (that's our hands free bottle - see previous post). He slams back 150 ml's in no time flat with that thing. Pretty good for the kid that we had to put on special formula when we brought him home because he couldn't keep anything down. He's pretty content as long as he has eaten. I guess they really all are - we've been lucky that way.

And then the big guy - He's quite a bit bigger than his brothers. Dylan loves to eat but is pretty laid back about it. He cries til he gets food and then just sucks at it in a leisurely way. Takes forever to feed him sometimes but he burps as soon as you sit him up and he almost never spits up (he savors every little bit). Then he just closes his eyes and goes right back to sleep. He eats every 3 hours like clockwork. You can count on it for the most part. He's holding his head up quite a bit lately - which is fun to see. They are all getting stronger and more alert. He's the only one I can't really carry on one arm anymore. He's awake right now, just relaxing in his chair. Pretty cute. I love how solid and strong he feels and am looking forward to having the other two feel like that too. Oh and people have said they think he looks like Justin (I see Jack). Any other opinions out there?

Caden loves to kiss his brothers and the other day we found a cheerio on Dylans face. Caden confessed to trying to give him 'just one'. It was just so funny to see that cheerio there. We had to laugh (and then have a talk with Caden of course - yikes!). When a baby will cry he wants to go and see what's wrong and tries to give them their soother and sometimes sings a song to them. It'll be fun to see them all playing together some day.

So - ya - there's a little update on the babies. We haven't forgotten Caden - he wouldn't let you anyway! We've been hanging out, going to gymnastics, making chocolate drop cookies and sugar cookies (making a nice big mess!), christmas crafts (mostly gluing - he loves to glue). He's going to his Auntie and Uncles for the night tonight. He's very excited! :)

They are here. They are really really here!!!

It was a cool day. Almost too cold. The kind of cold that makes you rethink your very existence.... Boy. I am waaaay to tired for that. So I will give you the un-dramatic version. So, we are getting bombarded with requests for an update and pictures. So I will oblige and provide you with all the gory details. Actually, there are no gory details. In what can only be described as an amazing answer to many prayers, the new Mooney babies were brought into this world with no problems what so ever. We entered the hospital at 10:00 in the morning and were taken to the surgery room around 12:00 noon. At exactly 12:38, the first baby, Dylan Michael was born weighing in at 6 pounds even. Then, also at 12:38, Evan Timothy also charged into the world weighing in at 5.2 pounds. Then, at 12:39 Liam David was born weighing 4.8 pounds. For those of you good at math, that is a whopping 16 pounds worth of babies. 16 POUNDS!!! And even though them just being born at 36 weeks and 5 days isn

The 2 Week Wait is Over

The waiting is finally over. Today was the day - after 2 long weeks of waiting - that I went for my official pregnancy test at the dr.'s office. I had done a couple of Home Pregnancy Tests so I pretty much knew what to expect. I have been praying constantly, as have many of you out there (thank you so much for that). Well, God heard all of us and we are happy to report that the test came back positive. We are really happy but also very cautious . It was only 5 months ago today that we lost our pregnancy at 5 1/2 weeks. We are going to just continue praying that God will watch over this pregnancy and that a healthy baby will be born. We give Thanks to God !
