Three Little Monkeys Party

Our little monkeys turned one year old yesterday and it was a great day. I have a lump in my throat as I sit down to write a bit about the day. It means so much to me to have these beautiful boys and it's at significant times like this that my heart feels even more full and overflowing than usual. On top of that, I can feel the love that pours out all around us and our kids from everyone in our lives. We are just so blessed. And for those of you that want them, here are a LOT of pictures from the party.

The past week was dominated by cake creation. Justin, with help from our friend Todd, made these cakes with love for the boys.






We sang happy birthday to each boy individually, in order of birth and let them see their cakes. The bigger boys helped blow out the candles!



I was surprised to see that by the end, Dylan was the tidiest cake eater. They all enjoyed their first taste of sweet sweet chocolate cake and icing. YUM!









Present Time!! It was a little wild. I should have been a little more organized about it but it was fun and the bigger kids enjoyed helping open the gifts. Thanks everybody!

I'm not sure it's a good sign that Dylan finished off his party crashed out on the floor with a couple of bottles in his hands :)
All in all it was a great day and a really fun party. The boys are fabulous and I am so proud of them. They already seem like little boys. I am starting to see little temper tantrums and their sense of humour is getting more and more pronounced. They are SO funny. This next year is going to be Extremely entertaining and utterly exhausting - I can hardly wait!

awww, the party looked like so much fun!! those cakes were awesome...and it looked like evan was reading toy instructions in that one picture :)

Awe....looked like a fun filled day, with a great turnout. Those cakes looked so great, good job Justin. Kenny and I sure wish we could have been there....Love you guys!

It was a cool day. Almost too cold. The kind of cold that makes you rethink your very existence.... Boy. I am waaaay to tired for that. So I will give you the un-dramatic version. In what can only be described as an amazing answer to many prayers, the new Mooney babies were brought into this world with no problems what so ever. Then, also at 12:38, Evan Timothy also charged into the world weighing in at 5.2 pounds. Then, at 12:39 Liam David was born weighing 4.8 pounds. Well, thank you all for your guesses. I found them interesting. I had one person guess 4 babies. I don't let him come to our blog anymore. Well, after 5 months of waiting, we have had the ultrasound and we now know what the gender is for each of the wee little gaffers. If you want to see, click the link below. The 2 Week Wait is Over

The waiting is finally over. Today was the day - after 2 long weeks of waiting - that I went for my official pregnancy test at the dr.'s office. I had done a couple of Home Pregnancy Tests so I pretty much knew what to expect. I have been praying constantly, as have many of you out there (thank you so much for that). Well, God heard all of us and we are happy to report that the test came back positive. We are really happy but also very cautious . It was only 5 months ago today that we lost our pregnancy at 5 1/2 weeks. We are going to just continue praying that God will watch over this pregnancy and that a healthy baby will be born. We give Thanks to God !
