Ya just never know

We got a little more sleep last night. I guess that doesn't mean anything unless I tell you that we got about an hour of sleep the night before. Every kid took a turn being up throughout the night. Except Dylan. He napped 3 hours that afternoon and then from 830 until almost 8 the next morning. Even through all the noise and crying that came from everyone else. He's a sleeper! Evan and Liam must be getting teeth or something was bothering them. Not sure what. Caden has been waking up wanting more lights turned on or saying that he is having a bad dream. Not the phase I'm wanting when we haven't even gotten to where the little kids sleep through regularly.

But then last night the kids slept til 6ish. Well, except Caden, he was up around 530ish - same thing as above. Figures that the almost 4 yr. old is getting up even without the little guys being up. What luck! Anyway. We feel much much better today.

Now the question is why the big difference? First of all - the terrible no sleep night was my night - as usual. Last night with all the sleeping was Justin's night. That might just be enough explanation these days. We also had friends watch and put the kids to bed for us so that we could go to a movie. Maybe they need to come do that every night? That day we had lots of company so maybe they just got more stimulation that day? Who knows? We go to bed each night with absolutely no idea what the night will bring. I'm sure that will be the way it is now for years to come. Parenting. As tiring as it sometimes is - it's quite a little adventure now isn't it?!

This morning was adorable. The kids got up so happy and smiley. They are SO CUTE (I was not saying that yesterday morning. I have to admit - they aren't as cute to me after a night of no sleep). Watching them walk around in their pjs and play and laugh together is one of my favorite things.

I wonder what tonight will bring?

hoping you have lots of sleep coming your way. I had to smile, because the first 2 times Lanelle slept through the night was when someone else had put her to sleep while we were out for the evening. Hmmm, I think they get up for mom.

They are here. They are really really here!!!

It was a cool day. Almost too cold. The kind of cold that makes you rethink your very existence.... Boy. I am waaaay to tired for that. So I will give you the un-dramatic version. So, we are getting bombarded with requests for an update and pictures. So I will oblige and provide you with all the gory details. Actually, there are no gory details. In what can only be described as an amazing answer to many prayers, the new Mooney babies were brought into this world with no problems what so ever. We entered the hospital at 10:00 in the morning and were taken to the surgery room around 12:00 noon. At exactly 12:38, the first baby, Dylan Michael was born weighing in at 6 pounds even. Then, also at 12:38, Evan Timothy also charged into the world weighing in at 5.2 pounds. Then, at 12:39 Liam David was born weighing 4.8 pounds. For those of you good at math, that is a whopping 16 pounds worth of babies. 16 POUNDS!!! And even though them just being born at 36 weeks and 5 days isn...

Just the 6 of us now

I haven't blogged for a few days. It's been busy around here! But lots of fun. I'm feeling very tired tonight and will likely go to bed soon! We had a fun weekend with Justin's mom and Adam and Trinda and their kids. Trinda took some pictures for us again. Keep watching and I'll post some when I get them - it'll be a couple of weeks likely. Caden had SO much fun with his cousins, as he always does. They just go downstairs and we don't hear from them for a long time. Just some laughing and an occasional scrap. The triplets are eating ALOT and we're seeing them continue to fill out and get heavier. Things are going well. Justin's mom went home tonight so it's just the 6 of us this week. Justin is taking some holidays now. It'll be a nice time together. I'm looking forward to it but I know it'll be tougher now that our overnight help is gone. A baby is crying and Caden needs to be put to bed soon so I have to go.... Here ...

An Exciting Day

Hello friends! I'm having a very exciting day. Today is the day that I received my new logo! Can I just tell you all that if you can get a sister in law that is a fabulous graphic designer - absolutely do it!  If not - I'm so sorry for you but maybe you can use mine? Just say my name and she might squeeze you in between all her other clients.  She very patiently worked with me to come up with a logo that is neat and simple. I love it. Here it is: Check out her website here . And you can like my facebook page here .
