An Adventure

The triplets turned 4 months old yesterday and we celebrated by getting them outside for the first time (not counting trips to the van) and into their triple stroller for the first time. The Gamble family in Calgary used to own the stroller and they called it the Baby Limo, a term I like and will likely continue to use.

Anyway - it was an adventure. Liam and Dylan were good to go. Evan was kind of mad to have been disrupted and dressed and everything but he settled down within a couple of houses distance. Caden thought the whole thing was pretty neat - to be taking his brothers out. We walked to the top of our street and around to the alley and then to our back gate. That's not even a block but it was plenty long enough in -10. The wind was on our faces for the last stretch in the alley and none of us liked that very much. Dylan never did get upset but Liam and Evan weren't too happy by the end. I'm looking forward to trying again when it's a touch warmer!

The little suits I have for the boys are way too big but they kept them cozy anyway and will still be good for next fall.

Here's a couple of pictures of the boys in their hoods and then in the Baby Limo:

Happy 4 Months Boys!!

Jennifer-
That is too precious. I am so in awe of you! I have one and am feeling every bit of my age lately. Your boys are all so fantastic. I hope to get a chance to meet all four of them in person sometime.

The Baby Limo!! YAY. That's awesome. So glad we were able to pass it on to you. I'll have to show KJ&C the pics of Liam, Dylan and Evan in it. They'll love that.

Awesome Pictures Jen. I haven't had time to be on the computer lately, but got caught up tonight. Sounds like you've been having ups and downs. Wish I was there to come over and give you a break once in a while. Maybe one day that'll happen. Well, take care and I'll be sending some prayers to God on your behalf. Love Ya!

Hey Jen. Now that you're taking the boys out more, you'll have to start sharing some of the wild 'n wacky things people say to you or the oh-so-personal questions they ask. I'm sure you'll get some doozies, just like we did.

They are here. They are really really here!!!

It was a cool day. Almost too cold. The kind of cold that makes you rethink your very existence.... Boy. I am waaaay to tired for that. So I will give you the un-dramatic version. So, we are getting bombarded with requests for an update and pictures. So I will oblige and provide you with all the gory details. Actually, there are no gory details. In what can only be described as an amazing answer to many prayers, the new Mooney babies were brought into this world with no problems what so ever. We entered the hospital at 10:00 in the morning and were taken to the surgery room around 12:00 noon. At exactly 12:38, the first baby, Dylan Michael was born weighing in at 6 pounds even. Then, also at 12:38, Evan Timothy also charged into the world weighing in at 5.2 pounds. Then, at 12:39 Liam David was born weighing 4.8 pounds. For those of you good at math, that is a whopping 16 pounds worth of babies. 16 POUNDS!!! And even though them just being born at 36 weeks and 5 days isn

The 2 Week Wait is Over

The waiting is finally over. Today was the day - after 2 long weeks of waiting - that I went for my official pregnancy test at the dr.'s office. I had done a couple of Home Pregnancy Tests so I pretty much knew what to expect. I have been praying constantly, as have many of you out there (thank you so much for that). Well, God heard all of us and we are happy to report that the test came back positive. We are really happy but also very cautious . It was only 5 months ago today that we lost our pregnancy at 5 1/2 weeks. We are going to just continue praying that God will watch over this pregnancy and that a healthy baby will be born. We give Thanks to God !
