We're back!

We're back!! We spent a long weekend away in Minot with my family and had lots of fun. Doing that with the 4 kids went pretty well. We would never have been able to do it if it weren't for all the loving arms that took those babies for us sometimes!! Thanks guys!! I will take some time later and get some pictures up from the weekend but I'm happy to say we have another milestone to report. Well a couple actually. F

First of all, last week Liam just started clapping away. We have never done that with him (I know - these babies are so deprived!!) but he figured it out and does it all the time now. He claps his hands and his feet and any and all toys. He loves to have another way to express his excitement.

The second exciting thing was today. Dylan has been kind of kneeling up to things but today he actually pulled himself up to standing. YAY! Dylan. He seems to be doing everything at pretty much the same time that Caden did them. Anyway - it was pretty exciting. Here he is - all proud of himself:

The last milestone was achieved, again by Liam, but this time with help from his brother. I say milestone because for Mooney boys you do need to record the first time they find themselves in a reflective surface. I think their conversation might have gone something like this:

Dylan - "Look Liam, you can see yourself in this thing!! Check it out!! "
Liam - "Awesome!! You totally can. Why didn't you show me this before? Maybe when Evan decides to try crawling we can show him too!! :)"

And then Dylan spotted me and had to get over to me - and now!! You would think that Dylan just does this to his poor innocent brothers when he has no other choice but in actuality I think he looks for chances to crawl over them. It doesn't matter how much room is around them, he'd prefer to just crawl over them. They don't usually mind too much.

And don't worry - we still remember Evan. It just wasn't a big picture day for him today :). There are lots in our Minot batch so check back in a couple of days or so. Here he is all laid back and comfy on grandpa. Very Evan like :).

Caden had a ball on our trip and I have lots of pictures of him too. I don't think he's too happy to be home. Hanging at the hotel, playing in the pool and going to the zoo and spray park with his cousins was WAY too much fun! Can't wait to do it again next year!

Welcome back. Sounds like Mini Me will soon be walking...make that running, and Squiggles will be right behind him. You better hope Bubba chills for a while longer or your days are going to get a lot wilder. Just imagine...four boys..four imaginations...four directions...and only two eyes for mama...I can hardly wait...can't you?

They are here. They are really really here!!!

It was a cool day. Almost too cold. The kind of cold that makes you rethink your very existence.... Boy. I am waaaay to tired for that. So I will give you the un-dramatic version. So, we are getting bombarded with requests for an update and pictures. So I will oblige and provide you with all the gory details. Actually, there are no gory details. In what can only be described as an amazing answer to many prayers, the new Mooney babies were brought into this world with no problems what so ever. We entered the hospital at 10:00 in the morning and were taken to the surgery room around 12:00 noon. At exactly 12:38, the first baby, Dylan Michael was born weighing in at 6 pounds even. Then, also at 12:38, Evan Timothy also charged into the world weighing in at 5.2 pounds. Then, at 12:39 Liam David was born weighing 4.8 pounds. For those of you good at math, that is a whopping 16 pounds worth of babies. 16 POUNDS!!! And even though them just being born at 36 weeks and 5 days isn

The 2 Week Wait is Over

The waiting is finally over. Today was the day - after 2 long weeks of waiting - that I went for my official pregnancy test at the dr.'s office. I had done a couple of Home Pregnancy Tests so I pretty much knew what to expect. I have been praying constantly, as have many of you out there (thank you so much for that). Well, God heard all of us and we are happy to report that the test came back positive. We are really happy but also very cautious . It was only 5 months ago today that we lost our pregnancy at 5 1/2 weeks. We are going to just continue praying that God will watch over this pregnancy and that a healthy baby will be born. We give Thanks to God !
