Insanely busy

I cannot believe how busy life can get. I should get used to it I suppose! It used to be that I could get stuff done while the babies were awake. It's so much harder now that they are so mobile. Besides the fact of needing to keep a pretty close eye on them, I can't load the dishwasher or do work on the computer or sweep or mop or anything like that because they are right there in it. Pulling stuff out of the dishwasher and so on. So that mostly waits until they look too busy to notice what I'm doing or are in bed. But if I wait til they are in bed to do that, then I have less opportunity to get dressed or spend time with Caden and whatever else there is. So - things are busy. That is also to explain my slowing up here on the blog as well. Plus, I've been lucky enough to have people around. YAY!! Caden has had a lot more kids to play with lately and we've had a variety of people over. That makes his day a lot more interesting and visiting with my friends keeps me sane.

I'm trying to go through stuff and get the house organized. It's a bit of a mess. We have kept the babies in separate rooms. It helps some but they are still up more than I'd like. Last night I was up from 3 til 4am ( a different kid every 10 or 15 minutes - weird - maybe they can still hear each other or something) and then again at 515 and then 615 for the morning. I'm pretty tired today. But that's the life of all parents of little kids. Just part of life right! I guess so. Anyway - the kids are doing really well. They are growing like crazy. Dylan and Evan are even in a few sz 18mths stuff. Dylan stands all the time but won't take that first step yet. Liam is mimicking sounds so much that sometimes it sounds like he's actually saying the words. Evan is finally trying to pull up. He just hasn't cared up to this point but now he tries and gets mad when he can't. Poor little guy. It makes me want to help him but he needs to figure it out himself. I've been taking Caden to gymnastics. I'm glad I can now. Last fall I didn't take him at all and missed out on all of that. I still can't believe that at this time last year I was on bedrest. I thought it would never end and now it is just a distant memory. Wow! Anyway - I will try to get back to taking pictures. Haven't been doing that very much lately either. I know that's what most of you like to see. I mean these kids are pretty cute! :)

They are here. They are really really here!!!

It was a cool day. Almost too cold. The kind of cold that makes you rethink your very existence.... Boy. I am waaaay to tired for that. So I will give you the un-dramatic version. So, we are getting bombarded with requests for an update and pictures. So I will oblige and provide you with all the gory details. Actually, there are no gory details. In what can only be described as an amazing answer to many prayers, the new Mooney babies were brought into this world with no problems what so ever. We entered the hospital at 10:00 in the morning and were taken to the surgery room around 12:00 noon. At exactly 12:38, the first baby, Dylan Michael was born weighing in at 6 pounds even. Then, also at 12:38, Evan Timothy also charged into the world weighing in at 5.2 pounds. Then, at 12:39 Liam David was born weighing 4.8 pounds. For those of you good at math, that is a whopping 16 pounds worth of babies. 16 POUNDS!!! And even though them just being born at 36 weeks and 5 days isn

The 2 Week Wait is Over

The waiting is finally over. Today was the day - after 2 long weeks of waiting - that I went for my official pregnancy test at the dr.'s office. I had done a couple of Home Pregnancy Tests so I pretty much knew what to expect. I have been praying constantly, as have many of you out there (thank you so much for that). Well, God heard all of us and we are happy to report that the test came back positive. We are really happy but also very cautious . It was only 5 months ago today that we lost our pregnancy at 5 1/2 weeks. We are going to just continue praying that God will watch over this pregnancy and that a healthy baby will be born. We give Thanks to God !
