Rock on!

Yesterday was my birthday. And what a party it was! It was a surprise - boy was it a surprise - people started showing up at my house dressed somewhat familiar and yet very strange! It was the 80's all over again! SO MUCH FUN! My fantastic husband and my super great friends spoiled me rotten and really made me like my birthday (those of you that know me know that I don't really like that my birthday is right after xmas and it's so cold and blah. I'm not usually in the mood for it). This was one of the fabulous ones. Even some out of town friends were able to be here which was extra special.

Once again Justin and Todd created a masterpiece of a cake. But how could you go wrong with Bon Jovi bobbleheads? I mean really!

Everyone is looking good!
Tim, Heather, Vicki

Lindsay, Todd and Jayelle

Shannon, Jason and Emmanuelle

me and Dylan

What is going to happen next? Maybe a cake? With a million candles? I don't know...
but then.....

... there is another surprise. I really didn't think about Justin finding time to make me a fancy cake without me knowing but he and Todd made it happen. Thanks to both of you. I know it takes a lot of planning, work and time. Much appreciated!

Some of the girls that were there.
Vicki, Tara, Lorraine, Leah and Lena, me, Heather, Amy and Jilena (Elford), Andrea
I keep retyping this paragraph because I am having a hard time putting into words how much this night meant to me. I couldn't go to sleep last night. I just kept thinking about how sweet everyone was and what a great bunch of people I get to call friends (and that includes lots of you that weren't there too). It's amazing and I feel incredibly undeserving but I'll try and be mature (I am old now) and just appreciate it and say Thank You! You have turned my winter blahs around. I feel re-energized. And if I start feeling cold and miserable again I'll just think about this....

Oh ya - :) - a bunch of my friends pitched in and got me a ticket to the Bon Jovi concert that is coming here in July. I had sort of accepted that I wasn't going to be able to go. And now I am going!! Thank you everybody! For that and all the other thoughful gifts and birthday wishes. It was just such a fantastic birthday!

They are here. They are really really here!!!

It was a cool day. Almost too cold. The kind of cold that makes you rethink your very existence.... Boy. I am waaaay to tired for that. So I will give you the un-dramatic version. So, we are getting bombarded with requests for an update and pictures. So I will oblige and provide you with all the gory details. Actually, there are no gory details. In what can only be described as an amazing answer to many prayers, the new Mooney babies were brought into this world with no problems what so ever. We entered the hospital at 10:00 in the morning and were taken to the surgery room around 12:00 noon. At exactly 12:38, the first baby, Dylan Michael was born weighing in at 6 pounds even. Then, also at 12:38, Evan Timothy also charged into the world weighing in at 5.2 pounds. Then, at 12:39 Liam David was born weighing 4.8 pounds. For those of you good at math, that is a whopping 16 pounds worth of babies. 16 POUNDS!!! And even though them just being born at 36 weeks and 5 days isn...

Just the 6 of us now

I haven't blogged for a few days. It's been busy around here! But lots of fun. I'm feeling very tired tonight and will likely go to bed soon! We had a fun weekend with Justin's mom and Adam and Trinda and their kids. Trinda took some pictures for us again. Keep watching and I'll post some when I get them - it'll be a couple of weeks likely. Caden had SO much fun with his cousins, as he always does. They just go downstairs and we don't hear from them for a long time. Just some laughing and an occasional scrap. The triplets are eating ALOT and we're seeing them continue to fill out and get heavier. Things are going well. Justin's mom went home tonight so it's just the 6 of us this week. Justin is taking some holidays now. It'll be a nice time together. I'm looking forward to it but I know it'll be tougher now that our overnight help is gone. A baby is crying and Caden needs to be put to bed soon so I have to go.... Here ...

An Exciting Day

Hello friends! I'm having a very exciting day. Today is the day that I received my new logo! Can I just tell you all that if you can get a sister in law that is a fabulous graphic designer - absolutely do it!  If not - I'm so sorry for you but maybe you can use mine? Just say my name and she might squeeze you in between all her other clients.  She very patiently worked with me to come up with a logo that is neat and simple. I love it. Here it is: Check out her website here . And you can like my facebook page here .
