By a whole new level I mean Dylan has reached one. He can now reach the very edge of the kitchen counter, he can climb onto the tv stand without something to stand on and just now - he figured out how to climb onto the couch without anything to stand on. He tried for almost ten minutes without giving up and now he's up there. I think he's fairly balanced but that's not my worry. It's that now he can reach all the things I was keeping out of his reach. All I have left are our island and our dining table (and that is only if there are no chairs left out). Soon I'll be hanging shelves on the walls just to keep him from getting at my hot drink or the phone. He's playing with the phone right now actually so I guess this is the end of this post :)
Oh and just so the other kids don't feel like I never talked about them - they are playing their toys and behaving themselves. Actually Liam tries to climb sometimes but he's still too short. With Evan we are still just trying to help him trust himself to stand on his own and to work on walking a little more. I'm sure the climbing days are coming for him too. I have to say though - I don't think the other 2 will do it with this intensity. Caden never did but I guess we'll see.
