The Big Bash

22 kids and a whole lot of fun.  That was Caden's birthday party on Saturday.  He loved being able to celebrate with so many of his friends.  And we loved seeing him with that beaming smile on his face.
He chose the angry bird theme...

These are monster cookies instead of loot bags...

While everyone was arriving we had magnets out for them to make - glue the angry bird onto the magnet.  As soon as everyone was here we headed downstairs to find a bunch of eggs that the pigs had hidden.  They are fast finders :)...

This game is like musical chairs but no one gets pushed off a chair.  The pieces of wood on the floor have angry birds on the other side and a few have pigs.  If you get a pig board when the music stops, you are out.  They had a lot of fun with this game.  And boy can these kids scream in joy when they get the right board.  Yikes!

Stick the face on the pig.  Fun.  But Justin decided to not only spin the kids in his line but to also flip them.  We had started with a line of kids each but it wasn't long before we only had one line (his) instead of two.  It was hilarious.

Time for cupcakes.  His french immersion classmates sang to him first in english and then in french.  It was cool.

Gift time...

It was crazy but fun and memorable for the birthday boy and his friends and that's the whole point!

They are here. They are really really here!!!

It was a cool day. Almost too cold. The kind of cold that makes you rethink your very existence.... Boy. I am waaaay to tired for that. So I will give you the un-dramatic version. So, we are getting bombarded with requests for an update and pictures. So I will oblige and provide you with all the gory details. Actually, there are no gory details. In what can only be described as an amazing answer to many prayers, the new Mooney babies were brought into this world with no problems what so ever. We entered the hospital at 10:00 in the morning and were taken to the surgery room around 12:00 noon. At exactly 12:38, the first baby, Dylan Michael was born weighing in at 6 pounds even. Then, also at 12:38, Evan Timothy also charged into the world weighing in at 5.2 pounds. Then, at 12:39 Liam David was born weighing 4.8 pounds. For those of you good at math, that is a whopping 16 pounds worth of babies. 16 POUNDS!!! And even though them just being born at 36 weeks and 5 days isn...

Just the 6 of us now

I haven't blogged for a few days. It's been busy around here! But lots of fun. I'm feeling very tired tonight and will likely go to bed soon! We had a fun weekend with Justin's mom and Adam and Trinda and their kids. Trinda took some pictures for us again. Keep watching and I'll post some when I get them - it'll be a couple of weeks likely. Caden had SO much fun with his cousins, as he always does. They just go downstairs and we don't hear from them for a long time. Just some laughing and an occasional scrap. The triplets are eating ALOT and we're seeing them continue to fill out and get heavier. Things are going well. Justin's mom went home tonight so it's just the 6 of us this week. Justin is taking some holidays now. It'll be a nice time together. I'm looking forward to it but I know it'll be tougher now that our overnight help is gone. A baby is crying and Caden needs to be put to bed soon so I have to go.... Here ...

An Exciting Day

Hello friends! I'm having a very exciting day. Today is the day that I received my new logo! Can I just tell you all that if you can get a sister in law that is a fabulous graphic designer - absolutely do it!  If not - I'm so sorry for you but maybe you can use mine? Just say my name and she might squeeze you in between all her other clients.  She very patiently worked with me to come up with a logo that is neat and simple. I love it. Here it is: Check out her website here . And you can like my facebook page here .
