Another Adventure and some more firsts

It was time for a change! I had gotten tired of the same old, day after day routine that we had gotten into during the week. And I felt like the kids just weren't being stimulated and life had no spark for them. Evenings were especially monotonous so last wed. night we packed the kids in the van and went to the Cornwall Center. The kids did great in their stroller. Caden had a hard time not running around so it was a good opportunity for him to learn how to behave when we are out like that. The mall was really quiet which helped a lot. I was even able to pick up a few things while we were there.

That outing, with Justin along, gave me a little more confidence. Wise decision or not, I took the 4 kids to the Southland on thursday. By myself! It was really warm here and so we weren't freezing during the 10 minutes it takes to get everyone out of the van and into the stroller and all ready to go in. We picked up a few things at walmart, took it all back to the van and then spent a little time at the library. That was the little boys' first visit to the library, at 14 months! Yikes - Caden had gone about a hundred times at that age. Oh, well. I do what I can. The kids did great! After that Justin met us at the food court for lunch. It was a really nice time out. I felt all fired up and exhilerated after that. It just went so well and gave me a small taste of freedom! Maybe I don't have to stay put at home. Day after day after day! Here's a bunch of pics from our adventure at the mall...

so much for the library being a cultural experience ;)

Look out Evan...

Don't worry we stopped him and Evan was none the wiser. So - a successful outing!

You do awesome Jennifer. Sawyer is 31/2 and Harrison is near the same age as your 3 boys so I only know a very little of what it is like. Grandma Sharon Parker

They are here. They are really really here!!!

It was a cool day. Almost too cold. The kind of cold that makes you rethink your very existence.... Boy. I am waaaay to tired for that. So I will give you the un-dramatic version. So, we are getting bombarded with requests for an update and pictures. So I will oblige and provide you with all the gory details. Actually, there are no gory details. In what can only be described as an amazing answer to many prayers, the new Mooney babies were brought into this world with no problems what so ever. We entered the hospital at 10:00 in the morning and were taken to the surgery room around 12:00 noon. At exactly 12:38, the first baby, Dylan Michael was born weighing in at 6 pounds even. Then, also at 12:38, Evan Timothy also charged into the world weighing in at 5.2 pounds. Then, at 12:39 Liam David was born weighing 4.8 pounds. For those of you good at math, that is a whopping 16 pounds worth of babies. 16 POUNDS!!! And even though them just being born at 36 weeks and 5 days isn...

Am I really having triplets?

What does a person blog about the day before they have triplets? I mean - there are a million things going through my head but I can hardly sort them out, let alone write them down. It's all just very amazing, surreal, scary, exhilarating and on and on and on. I think there is just too much so I'll just ask that you pray for all of us and we'll try to post news as soon as we can. I likely won't be at the computer til the end of the week (if ever again :) ) but Justin will check it and try to update everyone.

Just the 6 of us now

I haven't blogged for a few days. It's been busy around here! But lots of fun. I'm feeling very tired tonight and will likely go to bed soon! We had a fun weekend with Justin's mom and Adam and Trinda and their kids. Trinda took some pictures for us again. Keep watching and I'll post some when I get them - it'll be a couple of weeks likely. Caden had SO much fun with his cousins, as he always does. They just go downstairs and we don't hear from them for a long time. Just some laughing and an occasional scrap. The triplets are eating ALOT and we're seeing them continue to fill out and get heavier. Things are going well. Justin's mom went home tonight so it's just the 6 of us this week. Justin is taking some holidays now. It'll be a nice time together. I'm looking forward to it but I know it'll be tougher now that our overnight help is gone. A baby is crying and Caden needs to be put to bed soon so I have to go.... Here ...
